The Man Who Had Three Wishes
She said: 'A man's pride and joy is his penis. So pray to
Allah to increase the size of your member.'
So the man lifted up his hands to Heaven and said: 'Please
Allah, increase the size of my penis.'
He had hardly finished speaking when his penis swelled
to the size of a column. It was so big that he could neither sit, nor stand,
nor move about. And when he tried to have sex with his wife, she ran away
from him.
He said to her: 'See what you have done, woman. This
is all the fault of your lust.' She replied: 'But I did not ask for it
to be so big that it would not fit down the street. Pray to Allah to make
it less.'
So he raised his eyes to Heaven and said: 'Please Allah,
save me from this thing and rid me of it.'
Immediately his penis disappeared altogether and his
pubis was smooth and clean. When his wife saw it, she said: 'Now you are
pegless. I did not ask you to become a eunuch, shaved and shorn.'
He replied: 'All this comes from your stupid advice and
your ill-thought-out judgment. I had three prayers that might have done
me good in this world and the next. Now I have wasted two of them. What
shall I do with the third?'
His wife said: 'Pray to Allah the Most Bountiful to restore
your penis as it was.' So he prayed to Allah and his penis was restored,
exactly as it had been to start with. The man had wasted his three wishes
by the poor judgment and stupidity of a woman.
